JobDescription :
We are seeking aTraveling Field Service / Fitter Welder! The ideal candidate willbe responsible for a variety of tasks including the demolition ofequipment to be replaced and assisting with daily activities undersupervision.
This role requires active participation in thepreparation and readiness of parts and tools for fitup and weldingactivities both before and after these tasks areperformed.
The Welder should have a comprehensiveunderstanding of departmental operating procedures job taskprocedures and ASME code requirements for all vesselrelated jobs isessential.
Must be proficient in welding processes such as FCAWGMAW and GTAW and must pass 3G and 6G welding tests as directed bythe departmental foreman.
The candidate will be accountable for maintaining quality andcontinuous improvement within the job scope and fulfilling alltasks and responsibilities assigned by the departmentalforeman.
Requirements :
- Abilityto travel regularly across states.
- Proficiencyin following both written and verbalinstructions.
- Some experience in field servicesor boiler installation functions.
- Strongmathematical skills.
- Proficiency in usingvarious hand tools both powered andmanual.
- ASME code certification in weldingprocesses (FCAW GMAW GTAW).
- Complete knowledgeof blueprint interpretation.
- Flexibility towork any shift asneeded.
